Bee-ography

joshua bee alafia has been working in world cinema for the last six years. His film Blood Sacrifice, received the Audience Award at the 1997 Seattle Flavor Festival. He was a sound recordist on Tanzania's first feature film, Maangamizi: The Ancient One. He was camera operator on the Cuban Hip-Hop All-Stars, Road to Sao Tome, Mayan Mathematics, Everyday Art in Cuba, We Just Tellin' Stories and Making Tortillas with the Mayans documentaries.

He just completed his first feature film, CUBAMOR, and is currently editing a documentary on the World Trade Center Destruction.
